Hazed golden color with a taller off-white head. Aromas of pale wheat and caramel. Typical fizzy weiss feel. Light wheat, flour and white bread flavors. Hints of spice. No depth in this one. 1/11

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden color with a fair head. Aroma on banana,
yeast, grain. taste of citrus, light malt sweetness, some grain and bit of yeast and banana. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Moderate body, quite smooth with a bit of a Hefe feel. Pretty nice for the style.

Hazy copper. This tastes like bublegum. Sweet. Very fruity. Clove. Tasted at Monica’s 21st.

Bottle bought in Excelsior Springs. Was a mild gusher when I opened it so I was very leary from the start and indeed, the beer had off flavors and aromas. Not really fair to rate it as this wasn’t a true representation. Suffice to say, I didn’t enjoy it. But the appearance was nice, even the excessive head.

Tap. Pours a super murky light orange color. Big white head. Aroma is wheaty, fruit and big time yeast. Sweet flavor. Fruit, yeast and wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle purchased at the brewery. Beer labeled as "First Street Wheat". Pours a hazy golden color with nice white head. Banana, clove, yeasty, wheat aromas. Very carbonated, bubbly mouthfeel. Wheat, yeast flavors. The last time that I tried this beer, I gave it a really poor rating. This time, it is definitely better, however, it still is kind of missing the german hefe style.

Pretty terrible hefe weizen. Nice to look at, pleasant citrusy aroma, but the flavor is unbelievably tart with a stale aftertaste. Tried with Jess, Jennie and Jason at the Hermann Oktoberfest.

12oz bottle (not sure if it is fresh). Dark golden color, slick appearance to the hue with medium clarity. Small head fades quickly. Aroma has the requisite banana esters. Sweet smelling, some pear esters as well. Flavor is a little flatter and a little mineral. Decent hefe, a little off on the flavor, needs some life to it.
