COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tin Roof Blonde Ale is a light-bodied, crisp American Blonde Ale with a wonderfully refreshing finish. Uses glacier hops, as well as 2 row, pilsen and caramel malts.

Pairs well with virtually everything. You name it…pizza, crawfish, poboys, etc. If the food is good, Tin Roof Blonde Ale will enhance it. If it isn’t good, we still recommend drinking a TinRoof Blonde Ale.

Malts: 2 Row, Pilsen, Caramel
Hops: Glacier

On tap at Jackson Brewery Bistro Bar and Jean Lafittes Old Absinthe House. Clear golden appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma of toasted grain and light hops (earthy, zesty) Similar flavor, adding light sweetness and light bitterness with a clean finish. Not bad overall.

Pre-pour thoughts. Purple and gold can, brewed in Baton Rouge. What else is purple and gold from Baton Rouge....LSU? Barely 2 days removed from Les Miles’...departure. Let’s see how LSU, I mean Blonde Ale fares.

Pours a semi cloudy light golden color. About half finger white filmy head. Looks odd, light but consistent retention. Very thin lacing. Actually looks pretty good.

Aroma is yeasty, bready. Light barley. Lots of yeast, a little sour. Different, but nice.

Taste is pretty much same as the nose. Yeasty, bready, light sour. Sweet, but nicely countered by sour. Flavorful, but light. Not a lot of hop play, light bitter maybe.

Mouthfeel is medium light body. Semi wet. Slick feel. Leaves slight sour aftertaste. Pretty easy drinking.

Overall, this is quite good. This is about as good as a blonde will get. Simple, and tasty. I’d certainly recommend this, and I’d buy it again for sure.

can @ Double Shoppe / Ocean Springs MS --- Aroma of light caramel malt. Dirty hazy light amber color, bright white head, streamers of lace. Taste is wheat and malt that adds solid carbonation on the swallow, moving along to mild hops in a medium finish. A light, but solid food brew.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Pale grainy and relatively clean base, low bitterness, low sweetness, and mild floral notes. Decent.

From a can. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like corn, musky doughy malt, and musky straw. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like doughy malt, corn, sourdough, straw, and a faint citrus.

Overall a great American Blonde Ale, these thing are all over the south. This is a great BJCP to style beer, I just hit on aroma and overall because I wish I smelled and had a slight taste of some classic American hops.
