UPDATED: NOV 18, 2016 Pours a dark amber color. About two fingers tan colored head. Good retention, good lacing. Looks very nice, darker than your typical amber.oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Aroma however, is different. Medium roasted malt. Also and most importantly, very medicinal. I can?t quite place it. Iodine maybe? Let?s move along and get this over with.
Taste is creamy, bitter. Malty, and... that medicinal thing again. Although the taste isn?t quite as bad as the aroma.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. An oily aftertaste, boy does it linger. Metallic, weird.
Overall, it?s bad. I used to see occasionally these gag gifts, like armadillo in a can. Did they really contain armadillo? Is it edible? Who knows, but I?m certainly NOT going to open it to find out. This is pretty much the same thing. Buy it if you must, but you really don?t want to open it. I?d say that no, I would never buy this again, and I will not recommend it. This is one of the worst beers I have ever had.
Pours a nice bright amber color. Aromas of roasty scents. Flavor is sweet malt, and a hint of hops. Itzjerm (3126) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAY 7, 2016
Light chalkiness and a hop presence. Toasty and burnt flavors. Nice head that fades. Average Amber.

can @ Double Shoppe / Ocean Springs MS --- Hazy dark amber color, thick beige head, swirls of lace. Taste is semi-sweet malt that adds assertive carbonation on the swallow, then bitter chocolate hops at the end. A lot for 4.5%, but the bittering doesn’t compliment the openers very well. Close, but no cigar. wlajwl (7076) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 13, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2015 Aroma is citrus, fruit and mild sweetness. The flavor is citrus, toffee, fruit and a mildly sweet/tart finish

12oz can. Pours a hazy dark copper color with an off-white soapy head with good retention. Aroma is not bad, a bit bready -- taste is actually not bad, palate is bitter and relatively strong. Ron (4186) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 21, 2015
On tap at the Blind tiger. Clear amber color with ivory head. Caramel, mild chocolate, pale malt smell. Medium body. Decent enough flavors of spicy caramel, toffee, floral hops jb (3414) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 14, 2015
This one hit the spot after driving around in the rain. Typical Amber nice body color and balance. Fair nose and taste. AlmostHome (70) - Gulfport, Mississippi, USA - MAR 18, 2015
Very good offering from Tin Roof. I've not been terribly impressed with their beers but this is very nice. Not a very noticeable aroma but the coloring is nigh perfect and has a great head. The hops are well balanced and has a great taste. I'll buy this again.

12oz can poured to pint glass. Thick three finger head slowly dissipates to a thin persistent head, Off white in color with significant lacing. Hazy amber color. Roasty caramel malt aroma with a slight piney hops highlight. Caramel, toffe, and Roasty malts mingle together with a mild grapefruit tone on the backend. Hop bitterness balances out well and doesn’t linger too long. Finishes clean and is intriguing enough to come back to. Cheers!
