On nitro tap. Pours black with a thick tan nitro head. Aroma of coffee grounds, espresso, roasted malt. I barely smell beer at all, it is like pure coffee. Flavor of bitter coffee grounds, roasted nuts, espresso, sweet chocolate malt with a smooth creamy palate. So much coffee and so delicious.

Great beer if you love cold coffee!! Very smooth and slightly bitter. I would buy this again. One of the best coffee stouts I've tried ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Picked up a single 16-oz can from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, Minnesota. Pours an opaque dark brown colored brew with a creamy dark beige head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of fresh roasted percolator brewed coffee, some Bakers chocolate and even a hint of lactose. Taste is medium to medium-full bodied, flavors of coffee, chocolate, lactose and floral hops. Finish is semi-sweet, continues the coffee, chocolate and lactose aftertaste. A solid coffee milk stout throughout.

The aroma smells like fresh brewed coffee. Appearance is a dark brownish black. Tastes of malts, coffee, chocolate. Palate is coffee forward with a roasty finish. Overall this beer if the best coffee stout I have ever had. Made with ethopian dark roast, and its very obvious once you try this beer.

Minnesota Trip Beer #100. Keg at Red Cow North Loop Minneapolis, 5/9/16. Dark brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coffee and chocoalte. The taste is chocolate, coffee, lactose. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness.

Very solid coffee beer offering. In terms of Minnesota coffee beers I would place this 4th behind bent paddle, surly, and big wood. Coffee dominates the aroma and taste profile. Creamy head. Smooth from start to finish

At Beer Dabbler 2016. Dark brown color. Lots of coffee in the aroma and the flavor, and it is by far the overwhelming character. Heavily roasted malt quality as well, dry, I am surprised to see it classified as a sweet stout.

Nitro at Red Cow North Loop. Pours black with a thick cascading brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a combination of sweet chocolate, biscuit and bitter coffee with dark grains supporting. Flavor has and odd combination of sweet dark grains, biscuit and bitter coffee.

Nitro @ Red Cow. Deep brown pour with a creamy tan head. Strong coffee. Roasted malt ashy. Taste is mildly acidic, dry bitter finish. Plenty of coffee. Some nutty character. Dark chocolate. Medium body, smooth. Not bad.

Nitro tap at Tin Whiskers. Dark pour with a dense nitro head. Coffee explosion on aroma and taste. Great mouthfeel. Great beer.
