   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, - MAR 31, 2008
Darker brown with minimal tan head. Aroma is kirsch and dark chocolate. Although there is distinctive choclate and cherry in the flavour they come out of a thinner based beer.

Masterkush7 (581) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 22, 2014
Nose is roast coffee, dark chocolate, deep brown, tiny toffee head. Flavour is a lighter chocolate and coffee than the aroma. Light bodied, slight bitterness. It decent, though I didn’t notice cherry?

solidfunk (9729) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Pretty watery and unremarkable. Pours black with ok head and lacing. Aroma has notions of cherry but the chocolate is a bit of a stretch. Finishes watery and sour. Light palate, thin consistency. Bottle.

reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 16, 2012
650ml bottle pours with a small off-white head and almost black in color with some red hues when held to a light. Aroma is cherries and chocolate. Taste is cherry and chocolate malt sweetness over a light roasted malt bitterness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. A decent fruity porter that is quite enjoyable.

Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 10, 2012
Darkest brown, small creamy light brown head lasts. Fruity chocolate roasted malt aroma. Fruity milk chocolate malt taste with some light bitterness. Low hopped, average carbonation, thin bodied. Light sweet clean finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 26, 2012
650. Pours black with a loose creamy tan film on top. Big synthetic cough syrup cherry nose, totally faked out, with milk chocolate that’s equally synthetic lurking right behind that. Creamy medium body with modest carb. Big fake cherry chocolate cheap candy bar mid palate. Not much happening here, fairly vacant and even slightly chalky finish.

blomster (289) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2011
First off, I suspect that this bottle has gone "bad", which is probably a good thing...don’t really think it was intended to taste like this...but I like it! Rating is for this, probably off bottle. Pours dark with an almost non-existent, fizzy head, that leaves no lacing whatsoever. Smells almost like an oud bruin with sour cherries, that has added chocolate to it. Taste is quite sour with cherries, wood, again some chocolate, ends fruity and sour. Medium to high carbonation, feels pretty sweet but also very dry at the same time...confusing... Quite a good sour here! Will probably do a rerate if I try it again...

stantheman (1101) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 8, 2011
A dark beer that tastes of chocolate and cherry. Best chilled. Nothing at all exceptional about this beer...’nuff said.

sulawang (1208) - - MAY 30, 2011
tastes of sour cherries but not the fresh kind. Sourness is somewhat like the barnyard Belgian lambic krieks, but more astringent. Mixed in there is bitter cocoa that isn’t very pleasant. No pleasant or freshness in aromas or taste here. Medium tartness, and rough finish.

edfacer (16) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 20, 2011
Muddy Black. Cherry is there along with Choco aromas. Initial taste is tinny/metallic followed with cherry notes then Bitter cocoa. The cherry taste is grossly reminiscent of canned cherry pie filling and theirs a burnt coffee flavor/aftertaste going on. Wouldn’t do this again,I have never been a chocolate cherry kind of person but this was a poor representative of the flavor combination and potential they had in a porter

TracksideBeer (37) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 1, 2011
Dark brown/black in the glass w/ very little head. Weak aroma of chocolate with very little cherry smell. Weak on the palate. Chocolate or cherry are not really apparent on the mouth which is disappointed. All I really get is strong carbonation initally followed by a slight sour finish.
