11.2 oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a decent sized head. Aroma of grass, grains, and hay. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was not as bad as I was expecting. SanfordBrewer (1572) - Sanford, Florida, USA - DEC 18, 2009

^pale, bitter Ts musty Tf, high but good co2, clean simple boring.
Poured out a clear golden brew with some white head produced that didn’t last. The aroma is heavily based on grains, corn and grass. The taste is pretty much along the same line with decent sweetness and more malts. There is nothing offending here at all, it’s just kind of plain and nothing that will set it above the throngs of boring beers available at your local swill stop. oxford11 (3) - , USA - JUL 28, 2008 does not count
This is one of my favorite beers, completely unique and packaged beautifully. The smell and taste is one of the greatest pilsners out there. The Russian’s indeed have made something fantastic when they created this beer and I hope they plan to brew more favors like this one. The Tinkov brewery located in St. Petersburg Russia is extremely clean and worth the visit. There are a lot of good pilsners out there but this brewery has made something like no other. I would strongly suggest if you’ve never had a Russia beer, try this one in particular as it has a rich favor similar London Fullers pilsner with a very clean and smooth taste with a beautiful color for a glass or right from the bottle. Lettering and packaging has won awards for they’re excellent appeal which I give them a lot of credit in making the taste match the true Tzar formula. Tinkov a great beer! soulgrowl (52) - Kitakyushu-shi, JAPAN - MAY 7, 2008
First of all, I love the bottle this came in. The graphic design has a very communist propaganda look to it.
Aroma: Smells of honey, unrefined sugar, malts, chlorophyll, a touch of grassy hops and white wine, and a drop of maple. Has a bit of a musty character, as well.
Appearance: Honey/apple juice yellow with a jasmine green tea tint. White, fizzy head with mediocre retention. Against the light, flaky/grainy floating bits and vibrant, hypnotic strings of carbonation can be seen.
Flavor: A jumble of sweet flavors: honey, cotton candy, rum, and white grape juice. Very mild hop character reminds me a bit of iceberg lettuce. Sweet, sticky finish.
Palate: Thin and surprisingly flat.
Overall: This is too sweet for my tastes... I couldn’t drink very many of these. But if you prefer a more saccharine lager, this might be for you.

Golden with a weak head. Grainy glue aroma. Sweet and malty with an unpleasant, grassy bitterness. Another crappy Russian beer.
Draught at the brewpub, a very cloudy orange with a thick white foamy head. Very yeasty with a metallic touch. Very dry and sharp on the palate. Quite flavourless except for a touch of fruit. faroeviking (10826) - FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 14, 2007
Bottle. Golden colour. Small white head. Bit maltiness in the aroma along with some grass and hops. The flavor is a bit malty, sweet and grainy. Simpel thin pale lager. detroiter (958) - Euphoria, Minnesota, USA - FEB 3, 2007
Pours a clear straw gold, very effervescent, with an inch of tightly packed white foam. Decent head retention, spotty lacing. Aroma on the sweet side - malty and even flowery.
Light malt flavor, a little floral hop flavor and bitterness. Light body, good carbonation. Clean and refreshing. Decent enough...

From a bottle. The beer is medium gold with a little bit of sediment. The white head lasts for a while. The grainy aroma reminds me of unfinished wort. This smells like a non-alcoholic beer. There is also a hint of cooked carrots. The taste has some light bread crust along with a little bit of sweet potatoes. There is definitely a grainy tasting finish. There is low carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. A decent pale lager.
