Pint at the Old Fox, Felling. Clear amber with a creamy off white head Citric aroma. Caramel and marmalade flavour, hint of sharp raspberry and spice. Gentle carbonation, creamy mouth feel. No sure how typical of an altbier it is, but very nice. downender (9054) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2017

Pours clear brown with small beige head. Aroma has malt with bread, caramel, light roasted notes and light estery. Taste is malty with bread, some roasted notes and caramel and leaves some yeast esters that are not typicsl for the style. The beer seems more heavy than its german ancester and is a bit too light. Finish is sweetish malty.

Cask. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lod of caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish. Towey1989 (3525) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2016
Cask at The Port Street Beer House, Manchester. A clear amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of nuts, some toasted and bready malts, a little dark fruits and subtle grassy hops. Taste of toasted and bready malts, nuts, slight caramel, a little dark fruits and subtle spicy, grassy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, bready malt finish. Very malty, bready and toasted mats dominate. The hops take a backseat here unlike most tiny rebel beers (which is true to style) but this is a little lackluster. Like a dry bitter. Average.
