Probably the countries favourite word, Cwtch is our Welsh Red Ale. The complex malt base compliments its big hop flavours.

Bottle - pours dark amber with a big white head. Aroma is flowery, citrus, fruit and caramel. Taste is fruity across the palate with only a little of the malt showing at the end.

Cask Aroma grapefruit with malts behind. Copper white top broken diminishing lacing Taste has the same mix with grapefruit sourness wrestling with sweet malts. Grapefruit wins. And leaves a slightly soured palate. So not a session ale I suspect.

Great mix of aromas of fresh tropical fruit and some caramel sweetness from the malts, the taste is a bit sour to my surprise although it has a substantially bitter finish. Very light bodied and, although the abv is quite low you can feel the alcohol fill your mouth, which for me is great. Sadly the head is minimal and the colour is not very vivid for an amber ale, but its enjoyable anyway. Bonus points for discovering me a cool welsh word

Cask @Gallows real ale festival. Pours deep golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has apricots, hops, floral notes. Inviting. Flavor has citrusy hops, floral notes, apricots, peaches. Ok bitter finish.
