A unique schizophrenic beer where you’ll face off against floral hoppy flavours up front, leading into a dry spicy bitterness on the back. Need something a bit different to wake up your taste buds? It’s time to get a FUBAR.

Cask conditioned handpump Southampton Arms London 30/10/12. A golden coloured beer with a white bubbly head. A lightly hoppy nose which is quite restrained really. Grapefruit notes in the mouth. Decent sharpish bitterness. A pretty good tasty beer.

Smell of grain, hops. Cloudy amber colour, high white head. Aroma of straw, hops, grain. Fizzy carbon. Very bitter, slightly sour. Dry palate. Too strawy, but otherwise packs a good set of flavours.

Cask at Tiny Rebel Cardiff. Clear golden coloured, medium sized creamy white to off-white head, mild malty nose. Biscuity malty, light caramel, some yoghurty peachy fruity and mild hoppy with some light bitterness in the finish. Pretty high other rates but this one didn’t impress me.

Ehh, well, think they tried to do something special with this pale ale, but a cool label can't save this beer from being anything but mediocre. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma; hops, pale malts, citric peel. Look; off white head, pale golden clear’ish body. Taste; hops, pale malts, grapefruit, peel, attic, grain, and bitter bread tail. Feel; semi dry. Overall; clean easy PA, and dinner friendly. [33cl.btl abv4.4% #1404.05 BB:12.17 [email protected] Tromsø]

Bottle @ Ο Μπαμπάς (Koukaki, Athens). Pours pale yellow with fair white head. Medium body, slightly dry and bitter finish, some lace. Bread and toasted malts, floral and grass hops, some hints of pineapple and exotic fruits, with a nice bitter citrus backbone. Very refreshing, drinkable and fully enjoyable ale.

Vighals (3901) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - APR 12, 2017
Lys brun noe tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter honning, korn og noe sitron. Lett. Frisk, noe syrlig, sitrus, korn og lett bitterhet. Kort.

colui72 (977) - HONG KONG - APR 7, 2017
Hazy amber, medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is bread, floral and some citrus. Taste mainly malty, bready, some citric notes, not sweet, quite dry finish. Light ale, easily drinkable, but not my style. OK.

androman (2286) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 21, 2017
33cl bottle at home from De Caigny, Belgium. Nose is fruity malty. Body is clear pale, head is medium, white, frothy, average lasting, good lacing. Aroma is malty, bread, hay, grass, slightly citric. Medium sweet, light bitter, hint of citric sour. Finish is medium lasting malty medium bittersweet. Light body, slick texture, medium carbonation. Easy, refreshing, simple, well balanced, nice one.

Opaque yellowish-orange with small white head. Lovely hoppy aroma. Flavor of pear and hops, finishing a bit spicy. Medium bodied. Nice.
