Cask conditioned handpump Southampton Arms London 30/10/12. A golden coloured beer with a white bubbly head. A lightly hoppy nose which is quite restrained really. Grapefruit notes in the mouth. Decent sharpish bitterness. A pretty good tasty beer.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - pine and grapefruit. Taste - tonnes of grapefruit and pith. Mineral underlay. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - great example of the style.

Aroma of fruits, citrus and some malt, pine and grass. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average to lively carbonation. Overall an perfectly OK Golden ale, but a bit on the boring side.

Bottle at home. Yellow colour with a white head and good lacing. Floral and pine aroma. Sweetish start then quite bitter. Flavours of juicy malt and sugared lemons. Quite lively, dusty and dry finish. Pretty good and very drinkable.
