Loki Lite is brewed with a new UK Hop, specifically designed to match the bold, fruity flavours of that our American cousins’ hop range prides itself on, so this beer very much keeps things in the family. As we said above, and this beer should come with a warning, it’s highly sippable (yep, that’s a word) what with its citrus-like flavours combined with hints of old-fashioned blackcurrant to offset the tropical kick. This beer is awesome! And keep a look out for it on keg in the coming weeks.

Cask at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of passion fruit, slight apricot, a little mango, subtle biscuit and floral hops. Taste of passion fruit, lemon, some apricot, slight blackcurrant, a little biscuit and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, citrusy, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Another great pale ale from Tiny Rebel, really sessionable with a lot of flavour without been too bitter.

On tap at Chesham Brewery Shop, Chesham, Bucks. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, pine, citrus aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, pine, citrus, some tropical fruit. Easy to drink but maybe too light for my palate. Still decent stuff.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 1st May 2015. Clear gold with off-white shallow foam and generous lacing. Zingy citrus aroma with nutty malts. Luscious blend of citric tang and nuttiness in-mouth. Grassy kick, then a richly nutty, grassy finish. Full-on zingy mouthfeel and plenty of body. A superb beer and on more than one night the "best cask on" at Craft Clerkenwell.
