Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. As deep brown colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark fruits, some pine, a little ash, liquorice and subtle spicy hops. Taste of roasted malts, liquorice, dark fruits, some pine, a little grapefruit, a touch of ash and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, slightly ashy, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A really good black IPA, and at a sessionable strength. Gravity Cask Third of a Pint at GBBF 2016 (Day 4), Olympia, London Aug 2016 - Dark Brown in colour. Off-white head. Fruity; citrus and tropical fruits, peach. Hoppy; mildly resinous hops. Malty; roasty malts, chocolate, liquorice notes. Nice fruit/hops/malt balance. Bittersweet citrus fruity and roast malty throughout. Very tasty sessionable BIPA. Decent. (2016-08-12)

GBBF 2016. Pours a deep black colour with a mid sized white head, aroma is roasted malt with hints of pine and fruit, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.
