Our ‘Maori Pale Ale’ came together after months of experimentation with a very unique hop – Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Strong grape flavours are complimented by the sweet Munich malt, makings this beer crisp and refreshing.

0,1l from tap shared with iznogud. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells peppery, spices, light hops, light herbs. average smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes light herbal, resin, light toasty, hints of exotic fruits. finishes rather balanced with a very light bitterness and notes of resin and some herbs. decent one, but very lightly flavoured. overall still enjoyable.

My Bottom Line:
Pineapples, lychees and white grapes ride this New World-style Pale Ale’s bubbly leanness into a delicately grassy bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty dark blond.
-Drinkability is very high.
-Citrus fruit joins the fun too.
-Bitterness is quite low; these hops mostly focus on aroma and flavor.

33cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; tropical fruit aroma; gooseberry bitterness, with a sweet grape juice body; and a clean crisp bitter finish. Good stuff.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Lovely aroma with grape and tropical fruits, sweet malt. Taste is grape, tropical fruits, sweet malt, finish is bitter with a slight hint of stale hops while cold, goes away as it warms up. Lively carbonation. Decent

Pours clear golden with a frothy head. I love that aroma of lemon grass and grapes. Quite a strong carbonation. Lovely grape flavours with a hint of pith again.
