Tiny Batch Edition Beer, XLPA aka Extra Light Pale Ale.
But why Extra Light you ask?! Well that’s because our friendly malsters have kindly let us trial out their prototype malt that will give a very light colour, more so than their normal light pale version while trying to keep the full flavour profile. We can confirm it is extra light, like…..really light!
Apart from the malt we threw in a load of Amarillo, Citra & Chinook for a nice light 4.2% cask ale with a medium bitterness so you can neck a few but please NO neck nominating!

Cask Hawkshead BF. Soft fresh peach & melon aroma. Lovely pale gold colour, dry biscuity malt, lingering finish. Very tasty

MrTipple (6471) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2015
Aroma: very fruity, floral hops, light resin, caramel. Appearance: clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets continue, fruits come up, exotic and citrus, dry and long finish. Overall: fantastic Golden Ale, excellent aroma and palate. Pint at Small Bar, Bristol.

At Brigantes in York. Good looking with nice head. Citrusy. Fruity. Good flavour but not over the top in terms of hops

Gravity at Bartons Arms, Birmingham. Straw coloured. Nice flavour - belies its low abv. Good hop blend. Real nice session yeah?

Cask (?), Teign Cellars, Newton Abbot, 07/09/14. Chill hazed bright gold haloed with white. Crisp juicy blackcurrant and lychee aroma with sweat and tomato vine. Lychee, curry leaf, stewed green and well-wrung tropical hop with hints of underpinning Darjeeling and pale crackery malt. Minor pink peppercorn detonations. Rather ace.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Festival ’14. Pale gold with white head. The aroma was described as Cat Wee by one of our group, but just hoppy to me. There was a grapefruit fruitiness, lime, lasting and refreshing bitterness, lots of conditioning. Very decent indeed.

mike_77 (7098) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - SEP 7, 2014
Clear yellow colour. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, tropical. Flavour has some sweet malts and a touch of pea. Flavour is less hoppy than the aroma. Very smooth.
