Well this is not very good.
On the nose, not an awful lot, just citrus really.
On the tongue, nothing at all, then citrus and a light malty finish. Very disappointed. sm89walt (2080) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 16, 2010
Cask - The Brewery Tap, Wroxham. Poured gold with a short-lived bubbly head. Pithy citric, orangy aroma. Light skunky - but innoffensive - notes all-round. Grassy, black tea-like bitterness on the tongue. Medium carbonation with a mid-length finish. Fin (10841) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2009
Bottle that was picked up from Bellingers Jet garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon consumed 23-07-09 This literally exploded out of the bottle in a Krakatoaesque type fashion. What was left was golden with a white head. Aroma slightly floral and maybe a touch citric. Taste is citric, nicely fruity and crisp. Didn’t quite live up to the exciting entrance but it was fine. (Bottle from Co-op, Long Stratton) Poured a gold copper colour with a bubbly but almost non existent white head. Smell was, bizarrely, of turkish delight - not just a hint, but the prominant aroma. A hint of orange as well. Taste was initially malty but soon became hoppy with increasing citrus, finishing dry and bitter. Clean tasting, which meant a lack of character. The smell promised something quite interesting - this isn’t. An average golden ale, although not bad. Tastes a fair bit better with the sediment in, gives it a dirtiness, and a slightly earthy quality. fonefan (50762) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2009
