Clear amber with a yeast-bread scent. Not very bitter, but with a moderately dry end. Some malts and hop with a little cream in the mouth. Slightly watery. Refreshing. leaparsons (10865) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2006
Cask, Jersey Fest 06. Amber brown with a small head. Aromas are light weetabix malts with tea, lemon and pepper. Quite sweet. Flavours are caramel and toffee malts with lemon and dry hops on the finish. imdownthepub (15525) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2006
Cask conditioned at The Star, St Peters, Jersey. Red amber beer with white bubbly head. This is the home of the former Tipsy Toad Brewery, the new owner is trying to turn it into a big Chinese Resaurant. The beer has a caramel dose which gives a sweetish toffee note, a touch of butterscotch with a malty finish. You can still just see where the brewery was, what a shame that there was no foresight to keep it going. tipsytoad (85) - JERSEY - JUL 14, 2004
Am ale from home, a best bitter with hop notes throughout but with no distinguishing features. Can be cloyingly sweet if served poorly.
