4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2015 Thanks to hatfulofhollow for the growler. Delicious lime heavy character with all the citrusy hops you’d expect from this bill. Bitter but with a creamy mouthfeel. Amazing. Of course.
Day old growler from the source. Clear straw brown with a webby white head. Nose is orange peel, scallion-grass, mango, pineapple and lemon basil. Smooth and sappy medium to full body with a dry tang. Taste is candied orange peel, papaya, preserved lemon and grass with a delicate watermelon sweetness. Thinking of going for seconds if still on tap tomorrow. callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Hazy golden body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Grapefruit, tangerine, peach, kiwi, mango, lemon, and orange notes--a juicy beershake. Medium to light bodied, mellow carbonation, lively bitterness, just a touch of sweetness from the fruit puree. Diggin’ this one. digrod (138) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2013
From growler on 12/3/13. Reddish gold color. Nose of orange marmalade and straw. Initial taste is orange rind and juicy apricots and mango. A dry and honey finish. Delicious. TH continues to put out top notch Farmhouse Ales and IPAs. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2013
On draft at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy deep gold with thin, dense white head. Nose of under ripe apricot, grapefruit, mango, citrus. Medium body with a moderately bitter finish and well concealed abv. Very juicy and delicious. One of my favorite TH brews that I’ve tasted.

Pours clear gold with a medium white head...nice creamy lacing and good retention. Aroma has loads of peach and mango...light grapefruitiness. Flavor follows suit and adds a significant amount of citrus rindy bitterness...really noticing the lime and grapefruit here. Mouthfeel is light/medium and silky with a very rindy bitter finish. I feel like the hops really do the talking in the aroma here and the fruits come through in the flavor. PhillyCraft (7585) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Tried at brewpub. Murky orange pour, medium head and lace. lots of simcoe, citra, and other grapefruit dankness from the sick hop bill. Smaller notes of lemon peel and lime zest. So smooth, kind of reminds me of mortal which reminded me of topper. Medium body. Killer hop juice from Tired Hands.
