On tap at Tired Hands. Mild roast aroma, chocolate, rye. Nice hops aroma to this one, spicy. Medium coppery amber clear with light haze and thin off-white lacing head. Starts roasty with caramel, spicy hops, and light corn sweetness. Bitter finish with smooth after. Nice little brown ale, a bit nutty in the after. Tap at Tired Hands. Low haze tea amber to deep orange pour. Spottier lace. Nose is sweet tea and sharper tannin, lemon. Taste is very bitter and nutty. Almost an IPA with a nutty, mega hop profile. In fact, most IPAs in the
US taste like this brown ale. Not bad. Near astringent. Roasty, nutty nose. I can’t really pick out the heavy corn profile. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2012
On tap at Tired Hands. Clear yellow brown with an off-white head. Nose is coffee, corn, grain and hay. Medium light with s dry tang. Taste is coffee bean, brown sugar and grass. Hoppy but not so brown. PhillyCraft (7738) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Growler fill from a friend. Hazy amberish brown pour, not much lacing or head at all. Aromas are light for a brown, hoppy, very very light chocolate. Taste is very bitter and thin bodied. Its just way too hop forward and lacking an overall brown ale character. Dry and bitter finish. This growler was one day old so it wasnt conditioning. Not a fan of this one from TH. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Medium amber body. Moderate sized pale tan head. Caramel malt sweetness, toffee, floral hops and a faint fruitiness throughout. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a bit raw across the palate. Light bitterness in the finish.

Hazy brown color with a medium sized, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, lit citrus, nuts, and some caramel. Taste of pine, caramel, nuts, toffee, citrus, starch, and light grapefruit. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Pours unclear amber with a light tan head. The aroma brings sweet, smooth, light floral hops. The flavor brings malty and somewhat bitter notes on a refreshing body. It has light grapefruit up front and settling easy, a little lighter on the tongue than wanted but good overall. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2012
On tap at Tired Hands. Served in stemware. Pours a moderate brown color with a nice head and pretty god retention. The nose brings some earthy and citrus hop components alongside a bit of bread and just a touch of toast. Flavor is hop-forward with moderate bitterness and a dry finish. Didn’t get much corn taste, though that seems to have come through more in the mouthfeel. Nice and drinkable. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Pours an opaque amber with a medium tan head. Aroma has light malty sweetness...caramel and roast...with mild earthy hoppiness. Flavor has some sweetness...corn?...followed by notes of dry leaves, chocolate and earthy/bitter hops. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry leaves/earthy bitterness and dry.
