Poured a cloudy golden yellow color with aromas of tart wheat, lychee fruit, tropical fruit and some light funk. Flavors are the same nice tart fruit up front with some light wheat in the finish. Enjoyable and would be great for summer time. Thanks Jason for the growler.

Thanks to jcartamdg for the share. Cheers, Jason! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is fruit, strawberry, red apple, mild tart and citrus with hints of yeast. Flavor is similar with strawberry and red apple up front, slight citrus, mild yeast, and some background tartness. Light to medium in body finishing with lychee- apple and strawberry. Very nice Berliner.

Growler thanks to Jason! Pours a cloudy earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a note of sour wheat with a bit of a funky note and just a touch of tart lychee. Flavor begins with sour wheat but the lychee comes through much more and shines with a nice tart lychee note. Very drinkable.

On tap at the Brew Pub. Aroma of fresh white peach, lychee, and kumquat. Pours murky peach with no lasting head and low carbonation. Taste is wonderful. Tart peach, breakfast cereal and tropical berries. Not overly fruited to the point that you can’t tell that it’s a Berliner. Perfect mouthfeel. These guys just keep nailing it.

perfect Berlinner Weisse? I think you’ll have a very hard time finding a better one outside of Germany, maybe even INSIDE of Germany!

On tap at Tired Hands. Cloudy orange yellow with a smooth white head. Nose is wheat and earthy lemonade. Crisp and creamy with a tang. Taste is sweet and tart apricot, wheat cereal and kiwi. Refreshing.

Cloudy straw-gold colored body, thin white head, spotty lacing. Blend of lemon and tropical fruits... couldn’t quite pick up the lychee (specifically) but a general tropical fruit character dominates. Moderate funk and mild lactic tartness. Medium bodied, a bit juicy, soft carbonation. Quite tasty, but just lacking that balance of wheat, grain, and acidity needed to really dial in the berliner character I am looking for.

pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. aroma has light funky melon and tropical fruits...good tartness. flavor has some lemony tartness, slight maltiness, and lots of nice tropical fruit and slight melon...faintly flowery. mouthfeel is light and the finish has a nice fruity tartness...crisp and dry...refreshing. im not overly familiar with lychee but this has nice tropical fruit and melony notes...pleasant.

Tired hands dr grasshopper: on tap at tired hands, pours murky golden with some orange and pink haziness, head didn’t last, and zero lacing. Aromas of lemon funk, sour yeast, German malt, and some other tangy grain scents. Flavor is puckery yeast, lemon skins, barn, tropical juice. The lychee flavor itself is hard to detect but you get a lot of tropical citrus. Lacking the potpourri perfumeyness. Medium body. Overall, a nice Berliner
