3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler brought by markwise, shared at RBWG, poured a light cloudy yellow color with aromas of light citrus, kiwi, soir wheat, and some tartness. Flavors are the same, not overly sour but just enough that it is refreshing. This would be a great beer for the summer time in Florida.
Growler: Thanks, Steve. Looks like super cloudy, watered down lemonade with a faint olive-green tint. Barely enough color to even be called "straw". Small sediment floats around. NO head. Aroma packed with apple skins, white grape, pears, & faint kiwi. A bit of sharp lemon-lime zest in the background with a touch of straw. Thin body, but it has much more carbonation that it appeared upon pouring. Slightly tart up front as it slowly transitions from sour-acidic to savory-sweet. Kiwi is more prominent up front, alongside white grape, green apple, lemon-lime... Almost reminiscent of Sprite towards the finish (in flavor, anyway). Dry, wheaty finish without much funk. A little thin, even for the style, but a good beer that is certainly crushable in mass quantities. djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2015
Growler during RBWG. Pours a hazy yellow with small frothy white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is kiwi and wheat. Thin mouth with mineral, tart tropical fruit, wheat, light finish, very good. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 14, 2013

Sampled during RBWG 2013. Hazy golden pour with a small offwhite head. Light fruit, doughy malts, and lactic tartness. Not bad. orangesol (1022) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 18, 2013

A - Pours pale, cloudy yellow with a one finger tall white head leaving little to no lace at all on the glass.
S - Smells of day old wheat bread, dulled Kiwi and Lemon fruitiness, some dry yeast and a bit of lactic sourness. I just wish the fruit came through a little more.
T - Taste is very similar to the nose. Kinda bready up front, Kiwi and lemon are a little brighter here, combining with the light lactic tartness to make a nice finish.
M - Light body with moderately low carbonation. My only problem is the feel, it is kinda watery from the start and it doesn’t improve.
O - It is very easy to drink and it has some nice flavor but the feel just kills it. With a little refinement I think this one could be a very nice beer.
Growler provided by mixylplik3, thanks for the opportunity Matt.
Pours a deeply hazy straw color without much of a head. Smells of funky and citric fruit with a bit of kiwi thrown into it. The flavor is lightly tart with a nice citric and kiwi thing going on with a hint of funk and a sulfur rotten fruit flavor that luckily doesn’t dominate or stick around very long. Light body with a lightly tart puckering mouthfeel and a moderate level of carbonation. This is a light easy to drink beer that would go great sitting on the deck when it gets a little warmer. Growler shared at RBWG! Pours a hazy golden yellow with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave light lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, some tropical notes, a little bit of wheat. Taste follows, some citrus with a bittersweet finish. Good stuff. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - FEB 28, 2013
From two different growlers at RBWG, one filled a few days before the other. I think Markwise had one, not sure who brought the other. Pours a hazy yellow straw with a small fizzy white head. Nose is lemon, kiwi (i was super impressed with myself that i found this without knowing it was there), light tropical fruits. Flavor is lactic and mineral-like, nice spritzy mouth feel that most closely resembles a dickinsonbeer Berliner. Tasty, easy drinking.
