Rich brown-black body, Moderate sized khaki brown head. Streaky lacing. Nose erupts with coffee, roasted malts, earth, pine, pepper and a bit of grain. Flavor is similar with a nice balance between the dark roasted malts and the bitter, earthy, piney hop flavors. Reminds me very much of a hoppy Coffee Bender Pours. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, light bitterness. Very interesting. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Pours dark brown with a medium dark tan head. Aroma of coffee and spice...light pine. Flavor is awesome!...coffee meets black pepper and great yeasty notes...some mild hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish has some light pine and coffee. Just awesome. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2012
On tap at Tired Hands. Dark brown with a foamy beige head. Nose is earthy coffee, grass and slight molasses. Medium body with a tang. Taste is French roast and grapefruit peel with a bready, funky finish. Ed5388 (3481) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2014
32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a murky dark brown color with a small foamy tan head. Aroma of rich roasted coffee beans, old chocolate, and a hint of earthy hops. Taste of light roasted coffee, earth, hints of sour citrus, and bitter old chocolate. Definitely unique and different, but tasty and crushable! Good stuff Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 19, 2012
Growler shared with Ernesto. Pours an ugly swamp water with small tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans and spicy spruce hops. Taste is very interesting with some light sweetness and mild tartness, that I wish wasnt there. Overall very unique and tasty brew.

Jet black with a thin white head. Aroma is roasty coffee, pepper and slight pine. Taste follows. Really coffee forward. Finishes ridiculously light and smooth.
