Growler shared by yourefragile: Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing froth of beige head. Has a roasty complex coffee and dark malty nose with some light fruits and floral hops. Starts with good fullness and sweet caramel malts with a good dose of roasted coffee bittterness, some light fruity esters and crisp citrusy hops. Finishes drier and bittersweet with lingering coffee notes. A unique concept and well done. brystmar (1314) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2012
A wheat-based hoppy coffee saison. Wtf is going on here?! Whatever this is, I like it.
Darker with more body than every stout Central Waters has ever made. Handsome brown head leaves saison-esque lace, but that’s where the similarities to a saison end. Crazy aroma of deeply roasted coffee and roasty malts.
Black coffee on the palate. Smooth, roasty, hoppy, dry, highly sessionable. Equal parts weird and good. Goddamn it Tired Hands, stop making awesomely creative beer. You’re gonna bankrupt me. Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2014
32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a murky dark brown color with a small foamy tan head. Aroma of rich roasted coffee beans, old chocolate, and a hint of earthy hops. Taste of light roasted coffee, earth, hints of sour citrus, and bitter old chocolate. Definitely unique and different, but tasty and crushable! On tap at Tired Hands. Dark brown with a foamy beige head. Nose is earthy coffee, grass and slight molasses. Medium body with a tang. Taste is French roast and grapefruit peel with a bready, funky finish. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2012

Missed this the first time around, pours black with thin off-white head light lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt, espresso bean, pepper and cheese dip, and bitter pine. Lighter to medium body. Reminds me of an iced coffee with some hops. Solid Sammy (12967) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. India black coffee saison. This batch at 6.9% abv. Local coffee that generates a good coffee aroma. Black bodied and lacey. Above average mouthfeel. Very coffee yet well done and tasty for what it is. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 3, 2012
