Had this one in the basement/cellar for a while. Gotta drink the good stuff eventually! PITA wax dipped! Pours a dark brown with some thin white head. Fantastic tart aroma. Mouthfeel is very light and almost watery, but pretty good for the style. Taste is outstanding. Lots of very tart cherries. I didn’t notice any or much bourbon flavor and no booziness; which are both very good things. Just great flavor complexity. Wow! Big fan of the original Guillemot and bigger fan of this one. lachrymalisis (448) - Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2014

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with notes of cherries, funky notes, light tartness, and miscellaneous dark fruits. Flavour is tart and dry, with red notes, medium brett funk, and light acidity. Quite vinous, with loads of red wine and moderate brett on the finish. Elegant stuff. Finishes rather acidic.

Dark brown color, almost black; small head. Woody and sour aroma, dark malts. Highly carbonated, good dark malts flavor, fruity sourness, balsamic vinegar, very woody and fairly tannic; moderate alcohol perception.
Bottle - Sour cherry and dark malts with some oak notes. Deep mahogany with a decent brown head. Rich malty and sour tart cherry. Simple, but underlying complexity and nice to drink Leighton (22550) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2014
