Draft at tired hands with pat and Vinny. Pours a deep brown body with light of white lacing. Aroma is fresh hops, light roast, and a weird funky chocolate. Mouthfeel is hoppy, medium with notes of roasted chocolate malts, pine hops and chocolate. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Growler courtesy of drabmuh. Served in Tired Hands stemware. Pours a fairly-dark brown with a light tan head. Sticky lacing. Delicious. Touch of chocolate and roast with nice citrus notes. Dry and fairly bitter. Grows on me as I drink more, though I still prefer the nose. jcwattsrugger (12549) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2012
on tap-pours black with a tight tan head and trailing lace. Aroma is lots of citrus, some medium malt. Taste is lots of citrus zest/spice hops, 2nd medium malt-some roast. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2012
On draft at Tired Hands. Pours a dark brown with tan head. Aroma is hoppy citrus, pine, with notes of roasted malts. Up front citrusy and pine hops which recedes to a bitter coffee and roast malt finish. PhillyCraft (7990) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Aroma is dank smelling citrus dominant hops with pine, peach, grapefruit and cheese. Taste is roast Coffee, sour diesel fuel hops, smooth roasty malts, cocoa, and light cheddar. full bodied. long lastoing aftertaste. What an amazing black ale. Layered perfectly with flavors. Great lacing rings, small creamy beige head.

On tap at Tired Hands. Pours deep brown amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, hops and peanut butter. Flavor exactly the same. Deep, complex, rich and beautifully tasty. Excellent, but I'm not into malts at the moment.

Pours unclear muddy brown amber in color. The aroma brings super fresh hoppy and lemon notes, quite pleasant in the nose. Without looking at the dark color of the beer you would think it was a straight imperial IPA from the fresh hop notes. There are more big hop flavors than roasted malts on a very creamy body, rounding out the style so well. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Clear, dark brown pour with a creamy tan head. Fresh hops, roasted malts, burnt toast, and a bit of chocolate on the nose. Nicely balanced bitter and roasted flavors. Good body - not too heavy. Really nice change of pace. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Dark brown-black body, thick, tight khaki head, near solid sheets of lacing. Nose is full of roasted malts, bittersweet chocolate and a healthy dose of floral/piney hops. Flavor is similar with a nice balance between roasted malts and fresh bitter hops. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, and a nice dry and lightly bitter finish.
