classic bitter. phenomenal yeasty, bready dough notes, slight acidity, biscuity, crisp and clean finish. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 27, 2013
opaque red-sepia, puffy cream head, no lacing. Vanillin nose is light butterscotch, coffee. Flavor initially coffee and grass, light grain and hop bitterness merge into hop-browny that lingers on black IPA. Soft palate, delicate, balanced. Relaxes like my favorite milds. Tap at Tired Hands. Pours low haze deep amber brown. Spotty lacing. Nose is baked cherry, rye toast, lemon, but overall I’m getting mild diacetyl and some coffee. Taste is quite nice, mild coffee, roast, bread. Palate is sudsy, some hydrogen peroxide. Wasn’t my favorite. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 19, 2013
64 oz growler from the source, 1 day old. Deep but clear cola brown with beige froth. Nose is coffee bean, light molasses and hay. Medium light with a lively buzz. Taste is French roast, carob, earthy blackberry and tobacco. Hints of cinnamon stick. Great depth of flavor for a mild. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2013
On tap at Tired Hands. Light. Touch of toffee and malt background. Mild chocolate. Faint earthy and citrus hops. Very easy drinking.

On tap at TH, pours murky reddish brown with super creamy off white head, and great lacing pattern. Aromas and flavor of cocoa dust, cashews, toasty malts, and light brown sugar. The cascade doesn’t really come thru esp w/ regards to the nose which makes sense for the style. Only lightly bitter, really creamy. A truly sessionable mild ale from TH. Well done Magick Man. jredmond (8517) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 4, 2013
Draft at tired Hands with PJ, Pat and Janine. Pours a deep, murky brown body with no head. Aroma is rich caramel, toasted malts, dark fruit and brown sugar. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with notes of caramel malts, toffee, bread, light cinnamon and dark fruit. Interesting. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - MAR 3, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Now this is a proper mild, something I’ve been craving for awhile but haven’t been able to quench until now. Dusty and chocolate nose spills out into a beautifully malted, light and refreshing dark mild. Just the right body to shy away from wateriness and just enough toasted malt to keep it interesting, satisfying, and pleasingly brown and flavorful. A rocking Mild. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Pours a hazy chestnut color with a medium off white/tan head. Aroma is bready with some toffee and caramel. Flavor follows suit...a bit like a toffee candy with nice mild bitterness cutting the sweetness...hints of fig, bread, toffee, and caramel...light earthy hoppiness...fullers yeast comes through. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a mildly roasty toffee finish. Macegan75 (848) - Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2013
