3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 @ Boilermaker. Hazy orange colored body. Medium sized off-white head. Nose is full of brett, wet hay, prototypical saison grains, and oak. Flavor is similar but with some residual sugars, a bit muddled. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, muted finish. Ok, but not as good as the parts.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Boilermaker during beer week. Another one off from Tired Hands/Mckenzie. This was a blend of McKenzie du Bois and Tired Hands Farm Hands aged in barrels. Notes were nice and bretty, with a very floral aroma, taste had some crazy fresh crab meat character and other rich and dark belgian notes. Pretty awesome brew, wish i had more tasting notes.
