Pours a very cloudy ripe banana color that’s completely opaque with hazy straw edges. Frothy two finger white head that very slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Great retention with large chunks of soapy lacing coating the glass on the way down.
Dank, spicy hop aroma with earthy pine and juicy tropical/citrus fruit notes. Fresh cut grass, resinous oils, dank nuggets and earthy pine needles. Slightly buttery with juicy tropical fruit, notably mango, pineapple and papaya along with tart grapefruit, lemon pith and orange rind. Very inviting.
Medium body with dank hop bitterness dominating the flavor but it finishes clean and still drinks like a pale ale. Slight buttery flavor but it’s not overpowering or too distracting. Grassy and spicy with dry, earthy bitterness that’s countered by the sweeter notes. Some tropical and citrus sweetness but not as prominent or juicy as in the nose. Some pineapple and lemon peel sweetness before the bitterness again takes over. As it warms the buttery notes stand out a little more slightly hurting the overall flavor and drinkability. Day old growler from the source. Cloudy yellow orange with a lacy white head. Aroma as you would expect with mango, dried pineapple, sweet musk, pine and earthy apricot. Creamy medium body with a buzz. Taste is understated considering the smell and previous Tired Hands hop bombs featuring grass, clover honey, pine, grapefruit and bubblegum. Tight yet distinctive. reggiedunlop (3724) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a thick white head...nice retention and lacing. Aroma has nice fruitiness...mango, peach, pineapple, kiwi and some nice greenery. Flavor follows suit...very juicy and fruity with just a touch of citrus rind and grass creeping in...fresh fruit and greenery! Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a nice fruity mango/peach finish that dries to earthy rind.
