A - Pours slightly hazy copper brown with a one finger tall white head leaving small trails of lace down part of the glass.
S - Smells of sweet caramel malt, fresh toffee, vanilla, and tons of fresh brewed coffee. The booze creeps in as it warms in the glass, becoming rather apparent toward the end of the glass.
T - Very similar to the nose in that the caramel, toffee, vanilla, try and offset the coffee. I am just not really sure this is a BW. I guess its close enough but it’s not what I would expect out of the style...
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet, smooth feel make it go down easy, whatever it is.
O - A pretty nice beer overall, just not sold on it being a BW. I like it but I wouldn’t get it again.

From growler, courtesy of Jon D. Smells of roasted barley and spent coffee grounds. Caramel and sweet with light alcohol and broth. Coppery brown with thin creamy lacing head. Medium-heavy body with high carbonation. Alcohol warming. Vanilla, coffee, toffee, and caramel. Sweet and thick with light alcoholic coffee. Big sweet after. Not cloying, but a little too sweet. Amber pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel, coffee, vanilla bean, and molasses. could use more hops buy really drinkable.

Pours a deep reddish amber with a large foamy off white head that left all kinds of sticky lacing. Aroma of vanilla, dark fruits, coffee, caramel, some spicy yeast character, alcohol is there but not dominant. Flavor of caramel, dark fruits, vanilla, coffee and some spicy/fruity notes form the yeast profile. Murky reddish brown color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, cocoa, vanilla beans, coffee, roast, and some dark fruits. Taste of caramel, dark fruits, vanilla, cocoa, light roasted malts, and a bit of alcohol in the finish.
