Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head...nice lacing. Aroma has nice apricot and mango...very pungent...slightly sweet fruitiness...hints of citrus rind and grapefruit. Flavor has just a touch of sweet fruit nectar...apricot and mango...some grapefruit and rind...perfect hint of hoppy spice. Mouthfeel is medium/full and silky with a dry fruity/rindy bitter finish...just a faint hint of a warming booziness. All in all...fabulous and masks the abv beautifully! This is a masterpiece in my humble opinion. Jayklew (29) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2013
8 oz. pour in tulip. Aroma is fruity, floral, wonderful. Very pale in golden color. Seems fairly clarified without a lot of particulate. Thin white head and amazing lacing leaving a ring with every sip. Taste is fruity, a bit sweet up front and nicely bitter at the back end. A bit sticky on the palate but very nice. Overall this is a fantastic beer that is above most other triple IPAs. Nice work.

1 L growler from TheEpeeist. The aroma of hops leaped out as I lifter the lever and rubber seal. It smelled like an indoor English greenhouse with ivy climbing up the framework, and tropical mango, pineapple, and lemons growing in a steamy glass house accentuating the aroma. Clear yellow orange with a medium, lightly lacing, faint yellow head. Flavor is mildly bitter with a bunch of tropical fruity sweetness and a moderate peppery spiciness. I love the feeling it brings to my nose and tongue as I slowly sip it down. patrickfannon (1241) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2013
On tap at Tired Hands with Janine, Linh, and Sweet Baby James. Pours vibrant pinkish-orange with a velvety-smooth white head. Aroma of bubble gum, grapefruit, tangerine, strawberries, and a touch of pine resin. Very pungent. Tastes very clean and feels incredibly soft on the tongue, with some strawberry and bittersweet orange notes up front fading into some subtle bubblegum and marmalade flavors in the sweet finish. The body on this is extraordinary and but for the residual sweetness in the finish, this is a lethally deceptive beer. Outrageously easy-drinking for a triple IPA. Not better than Younger, however. mikem409 (2022) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - MAR 20, 2013
swing top growler, thanks kerry! pours orange with frothy white head. loads of tropical fruit on the aroma. taste is very sweet, mango and passion fruit. love this!

Pours an intensely deep orange with a thick off white head. Aroma of peaches, honey and oranges. Taste is pine and grapefruit with honey. Sweet and bitter. This is amazing but in small doses TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 13, 2013
On tap at Tired Hands. Clear orange with a white head. Nose is orange, grass and caramel; slightly catty. Medium body, just syrupy, with a tingle and lingering resin. Taste is orange, honey-mead and pine. Very sweet to start but mellows with a grassy bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. Can a triple IPA show restraint? Draft at tire hands with Linh. Pours a golden body with light haze and creamy white lacing. Aroma is faint funk, light dank herb and bright citrus. Mouthfeel is fluffy with notes of mango drizzled with sweet wildflower honey, funky hop and light dank citrus. another knockout from TH. The sweetness really helps mask the alcohol here as well. Overall very incredible. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Thanks to Erik for this growler! Fascinating brew. Mango nectar looking pour. Nose and flavor bring huge apricot and peach, orange rind and lemon, but so low on bitterness given the perceived aggressiveness of alcohol. Sweet but not cloying. Delicious. birdmachine (226) - Oakland, California, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Growler purged with CO2 and shipped over in 6 days. Swing top excitedly popped off with lots of gases escaping through the top. Poured a crystal clear orange with a huge fluffy pillow like head that lasted a while. Awesome lacing and big legs. Initial aromas of pine and light citrus, also a little catty. Definitely lacking the west coast style, or Double Sunshine type of tropical blast. Taste is big sweetness, with a thick mango-aprociot nector/syrupy mouth feel. Medium carbonation and medium alcohol warmth. Aftertaste are of vanilla, grass, pine, and some weird pungent bitterness. Not a terrible finish, but not the best. I think this beer lost a lot from the growler, which makes sense. Overall an awesome IPA, but the sweetness kind of tones this down from an IPA to more of a pale. Then again probably not properly represented. I need to get my ass to Tired Hands
