Single-Origin Coffee Only Void was cold conditioned on heavy amounts of our Awake Minds Ethiopian coffee (roasted by our pals at Reanimator Coffee) for many moons. The result is a complex and luscious reimagining of one of our most dark and devastating beers.

16 oz. can from the Fermentria. Aroma is fresh coffee, sugar, and chocolate notes. Flavor is coffee forward, mild espresso, cocoa, and nice lingering bean after the sip. Nicely dry texture and doesn't have a ton of sweetness, great roasted backbone in a full body. Smooth texture over the palate. In the top tier for sure.

Thanks! 473 ml. can sampled @ ZZT 2017. Black syrup. Nose is umami soy sauce liquorice, massively sweet. Taste is herbal, overly so bitter herbal coffee I suppose with underneath overly sweet molasses & liquorice syrup, soy sauce. Body is molasses & soy sauce. Not bad but too sweet, soy sauce for me.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2017 Can, Didn’t know this was a new tick, but makes sense at the increased percentage. This one was more similar to the first batch which was one of the best cans to come out of tired hands. Huge chocolate, Ethiopian coffee, berries, roasted malt, and fruit notes on a sticky black profile. Nice one to split a few ways in the morning or early afternoon.
Earlier Rating: 4/15/2016 Total Score: 4.4
Rating # 5,000. Can, pours sinful black with small beige head. Doesn’t stick around too long with light lacing. This has to be one of the best coffee beers I have tried to date. Notes of pure coffee bean, espresso, blackberry, dark chocolate fudge, Hershey, hops, and earth. Rich Mocha, Medium bodied. Complex Roast, Ethiopian berry and charcoal as it warms. So drinkable when cold which usually isn’t the case with coffee forward stouts. The body isn’t overly viscous either, If you appreciate good coffee than this is the beer for u. NO Starvin’ Marvin, that’s my Only Void!
