Growler shared by MrChopin. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is spicy wheat malt, earthy spices, citrus and herbal hops. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, supporting malt, fruity esters, spices and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. pilgrimoutlaw (888) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 19, 2013
On tap at brewpub. Straw colored with thin white head. Excellent lacing. Light fruit, melon, flower, tangerine. Light bitterness, medium sweet. Smooth, medium body. Brown_Dog (2) - - OCT 19, 2013 does not count
This is not one of Tired Hands best. It is described as a spiced Saison. It has an off taste and a sour finish. Not sure if the sour was intended. It has significant hops, with simcoe hops dominating. Brewery is still one of the best around. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 14, 2013
on draft at brewery, almost an ipa with that light house saison strain in the back. good carb, tasty, a good outside beer. callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2013
Hazy straw-yellow body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Shows bright citrus, light wheat, floral notes, and a touch of grass and pine. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation, slight bitterness, refreshing.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy golden with small white head accompanied by impressive lacing. Aromas of skunky hops, yeast, and spice. taste is very heavy on white grapes, pepper, and a lavender like spice. Very earthy and crisp with a nice hop presence throughout. Medium in body. Enjoyed this but couldn’t get over how good The Thing was. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 7, 2013
Growler that night from the source. Cloudy yellow brown with a coating white head. Nose is lemon peel, grass, custard, sweet basil and pear. Oily medium body with a soft tang. Taste is lemon pith, honey, peach pit and grass. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium creamy white head...great lacing all the way down. Aroma has light spiciness with delicate notes of fresh, floral hops and mild grape...just a faint hint of honey and chamomile. Flavor has pepper and citrus rind with solid bitterness...notes of orange, pear and nectarine. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a dry spicy/peppery and bitter finish.
