Our four-grain saison. Brewed with rye, wheat, oats, and malted-barley in homage to the original farmers (not brewers) that originated this style. Suggestions of tropical fruit, citrus rind, and black pepper. (Originally known as FarmHands)

Crowler to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks reggiedunlop). Looks good for the style; a very slightly hazy gold with white head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells and tastes of a nice soft balance of wheat, grassy and citrusy hops, yeast, rye spice, and a bit of funk. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied with a mildly bitter and slightly oily but not sticky finish. Enjoyable.

The taste is crisp, dry, tart, vinous, green apple, pear, lemon sherbet, orange peel, mind acidity, spice, straw and spice with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty fresh, tart and juicy.

On tap at the brewery. Smell is very unusual at first. Smells and taste like citronella or bug spray. Settles down after a while. Dry fizzy texture. Lots of citrus. Some bread. Tart funky finish.
