Finally cracking this one. From a trade a while back. Earthy dirty oak and gritty texture. Cherry and nice fruity flavors. Light tartness. More like a cherry tart instead of a yeast or sour tart flavor. Nice and complex.

500 ml bottle thanks to reggiedunlop. Snifter shows a amber / red color without any kind of head. Aroma is mild with cherry, mild vinegar, and a solid display of oak.

This was release April 2014 and I’m happy that it had time to sit because it has mellowed out a bit. I normally am not a fan of this style at all and this review reflects want is in my glass right now.... Sour cherries, Apple cider, ripe cranberry with a nice amount of dry oak in the finish. The acidic note is very weak and almost undetected but (light hints). Mild tannins with a super dry texture and finish. Well, got to say it is a spot on Flemish red with a huge oak character. Nicely done!

16.9 oz bottle. Beautiful pink orange with fluffy white foam. Nose is sour cherry, raspberry, green apple, toffee and wood. Crisp and juicy with incidental carb; very vinous. Taste is wild strawberry, cranberry and tart watermelon with oak softening the sour fruit. Dandelion greens add a bitter note with hints of brie cheese and peppery wine.
