On tap at the brewery. Pours an almost clear golden amber with a medium sized white head. Soft smoke on the nose, a touch of sweet malty crackers. Medium bodied, smoke is present but super subtle and delicate, moving into crackery grain and a hint of sweetness. Delicate sweetness on the finish with a whisper of smoke. Clean and easy drinking. Hazy copper, large puffy white head. Gummy sugars at nose, burning wet hay, light smoke but too much ester and sweetness. Fizzy front palate, metallic, leafy across mid, low smoke through crusty end, sticky finish is grainy.
LSAT Freedom Trip #178. Keg at the Brew Cafe. Clear amber, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, mild smoke, cherry like fruits. The taste is mild smoke and toffee, clean pale malt. Medium bodied mild lingering smoke, delicate. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 7, 2015
Pale golden color with a slightly off white head. Aroma of biscuits, cereal, toast, extremely subtle smoke. Smooth and easy to drink. Really pleasant to drink but if you are looking for a big smokey rauch this isn’t it. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2015
Golden colored body, thin white head, spotty lacing. Light grainy cereals, biscuit, and toasted qualities. Not much in the way of smoke. Medium to light bodied, smooth carbonation, mild sweetness. Well structured--just lacking that smoke.

Draft. Golden pour with tan head. Some tradition lager tones, light roasted and smoked tones. Flavors are light Malta, smoke is present but not overbearing. jcartamdg (3535) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 16, 2015
Pours a light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bready biscuit, sweet caramel and smoke. Taste follows. Very light on smoke. So drinkable. Jayb0 (1218) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2015
First TH brew, finally. Very enjoyable, clean, interesting, smokiness a bit different from the german beechwood, given the house-smoking, and it works nicely. PhillyCraft (7939) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2015
draft at Tired Hands with Ryan, Barry and Bill. Grainy and malty lager with some nutty notes. German and pilsener similarities plus some rye and oat. Lighter body. Didn’t get much smoke out of this at all which is fine with me but a bit odd for the style.
