Growler from the brewery poured a cloudy attractive reddish light brown with ruby red hues, small off-white head, and minimal lacing. Aroma is dominated by Brett and mixed berries with hints of wood and toast. Taste is Brett and woodiness up front follwed by a wonderful wave of berries and smooth finish. Finish leaves Brett and wine barrels on the palate. Very drinkable with enjoyable blend of berry flavor and Brett. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Big thanks to yourefragile for sharing this growler. Served in Tired Hands stemware. Nice strawberry in the nose. Wine comes through in the flavor with some earth. Strawberry on the back end. Sean9689 (286) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2012

A - Pours a ruby reddish/brown color, off-white head, spotty lace, thin collar, some wisps on top.
S - Bretty funk right up front, fruity sweetness which I attribute to the strawberries, light tartness, toasted malty/wood notes. There’s definitely a lot of things going on here...perhaps too much?
T - The brett & wood notes are more pronounced then the nose, with a funky berry kick on the back end. There’s some saison in here, but beer is more of an experiment then anything. It tastes like there’s more then 5.3% alcohol, but it’s probably the brett influence that’s making me think this. Finish is all wine barrels and funk with sweet berry notes.
M - Light to medium body, good carbonation, dry funky finish.
O - I think I want to like this beer more then I actually do, but it’s still a unique offering. The brett/funk influence is pretty big with a fairly complex layer of berries and oak. It sounds good but when combined together, I just think it’s a bit too much. One or two glasses is enough for me with this beer.
Hazy orange brown color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, wood, red wine, spices, caramel. And some nuts. Taste of caramel, nuts, vanilla, wine wood, spices, and a dry, slightly funky finish. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2012

On draft at Tired Hands. Pours a cloudy amber with thin head. Aroma is funky, wet wood, bathtub farts, with hints of dark fruit. Smooth taste with vanilla, stone fruit, funky yeast, slightly nutty. patrickfannon (1242) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2012
On tap at Tired Hands. Pours hazy amber chestnut with a thin white head. Aroma of some crazy, farty funk and wet wood. Tastes like a sour brown ale up front, but fades into a beautiful, sweet strawberry and wet, soft wood and the end. Finishes nice and smooth, especially after the initial sourness. Great.

Pours a murky orange amber, small head, med lacing. Aromas of blackberry, oak, cinnamon, and other fruits. Taste is cinnamon, wild yeast, vanilla, earthy berries, chocolate, oatmeal, and other spices. Balanced perfectly, refreshing. Really enjoyed this biere de garde. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Pour from a growler gave a copper amber color with a thin off white head. The smell was funky, earthy brett notes with faint berry in the back. Light to medium body. Flavors of light berries, wine, oak, and light hops. The finish is on the drier side and interesting and complex. Good beer. Damico (3150) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Pours hazy orange amber with a bright white head, quite beautiful for the style. The aroma brings wild saison yeast and light berry notes. The flavor brings light berry as well with grain and wheat notes, a bit lighter which is right on for the style. Pleasant flavors on a good body for a biere de garde as well.
