Supremely drinkable pilsner with a citrusy hop character in the nose and front palate but little bitterness in the finish. If this was available to your average craft beer geek on a daily basis, every beer geek would probably never complain about the dearth of session beer again.

On tap at TH. Funny, but the Baroness title is the first thing I thought of. Figures, since so many of their beers have music-themed names (could’ve picked something other than their shittiest record, though). At any rate, great idea for a brew and it worked quite well. Handsome deep golden pour, frothing carbonation. The usually abundant fruit of Cascade is certainly there but somehow they’ve managed to convey at least the impression of noble hops in there too, no doubt courtesy of yeasty additions that promote a dry finish. A touch of funk, loads of citrus, well done overall.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has floral notes but nothing disguising. The taste has a light floral and grassy flavor. Great in the style.

1l growler shared by Tom, many thanks. Hazy pale gold pour with small white head. Dank aroma, quite green actually, piney, citrusy notes, quite grassy, lots of grapefruit. Taste is surprisingly bitter, mouthfull of cascade, bitter, grassy finish. Malt flavors are completely crushed, could certainly have used some backup. Palate is silky, low carbonation. Good, although off style.

Growler (1L). 4 days old. Huge thanks to John for sending me this one! Yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma if floral and herbal with citrus, grass and malty notes. Taste is slightly sweet with cereals, grass, light citrus and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Moderately dry. Soft carbonation. Refreshing. Good, but certainly not mindblowing and a little subpar by TH standards.
