Dark brown colour body, significantly malted, with chocolate malt, licorice and root beer and nutty like. A bit of roast, and of hop. Not a bad brown. hopscotch (11175) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 17, 2007
Draft... Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Nutty, caramel aroma with light butterscotch (diacetyl). The flavor is sweet caramel, light chocolate and just a hint of hop bitterness. More buttery diacetyl here, but I feel it’s appropriate for the style. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Nutty, dry finish. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 15, 2008
Tap from sampler. A really good nut brown. Nice brown pour, small head. aroma is full of nuts, whole grain bread, yeast, honey and caramel. Flavor is better than I expected. Some great nutty flavors, caramel malts, some hops presence and a nice mouthfeel. I enjoyed this. BVery (10716) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2012
