Cask at JDW Ealing, gold with a faint haze, nose is malty, then a soft malty bittersweet and chewy body. A good straightforward bitter that happens to be golden. JohnRMurdoch (5053) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2011
Cask @ The Henglers Circus JDW. Rich golden colour, reasonable head. Mild perfume aroma. Spicy grassy flowery flavour, bitter aftertaste. Quite unusual but not a bad golden ale. Scopey (15717) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Cask at the Skylark. It pours golden yellow, with a thin, foamy white head. The nose is pine, light resin, straw, boiled sweets and citrus pith. The taste is straw, hay, pine, earth, spice and fresh floral hop, with a light dry finish. Light to medium body and fine carbonation. Clean, crisp and easy drinking. I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it is.
