Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, Baker Street, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, some bitterness, malty. Not bad.

On cask at the JDW Festival, Foot of the Walk. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, alcohol and yeast. Similar flavours with grapefruit, barley and caramel. Very bitter with a little grapefruit bite! Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle with a fair alcohol hum. Nice.

Cask-conditioned in the JDW, Victoria Station 15/10/2011. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hops, cereal malts and a dry, fruity finish. Good.

3.3
leaparsons (10504) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Cask, Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are lemon and grapefruit with hay and floral notes. Marmalade with toast. Flavours are lemon and lime with underlying toast and caramel. Fruity with a dry, bitter grapefruit finish. Spritzy yeast on the palate. Refreshing.

imdownthepub (14467) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Hazy gold with slight head. Strong chemical notes in this with a sour apple background, fruity, not that pleasant.

BeerViking (4710) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2011
Cask at JDW Ealing, gold with a faint haze, nose is malty, then a soft malty bittersweet and chewy body. A good straightforward bitter that happens to be golden.

3.4
JohnRMurdoch (4828) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2011
Cask @ The Henglers Circus JDW. Rich golden colour, reasonable head. Mild perfume aroma. Spicy grassy flowery flavour, bitter aftertaste. Quite unusual but not a bad golden ale.

3.3
Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Cask at the Skylark. It pours golden yellow, with a thin, foamy white head. The nose is pine, light resin, straw, boiled sweets and citrus pith. The taste is straw, hay, pine, earth, spice and fresh floral hop, with a light dry finish. Light to medium body and fine carbonation. Clean, crisp and easy drinking. I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it is.
