Crosse Keys Spoons. Bright clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is smooth with mild minerally carbonation. A little malt cream. Reasonable hops - clean citrus - lemony. Nice sherbet tang underneath. Neutral finish. Nothing like a porter - not even close. But an all right beer.
cask at sOrder ...golden amber ... thin white head .. soft fruit nose ...little soapy orange... nothing porter about this Leighton (21489) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2012
Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a wimpy, white foam head. Mostly crisp straw, some lemon rind, a bit of pale malt sweetness. Some astringency. Light bodied with carbonation. Moderately bitter to finish with light grass and citrus rind, some white sugar. Meh. harrisoni (18810) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2012
Cellar run thanks to the bar manager at Sameul Peto. Golden clear a little puke but some peach fruit. Fine imdownthepub (14751) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2012
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Initially fairly tart and fruity, sour plums perhaps, it does dry a little, but still a little sweetish. It’s ok but I wouldn’t rush back.

Cask at the Standing Order. Pours golden amber, nose is fruity, orange, taste is similar, sweet. Rune (12947) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2012
One-third pint measure from cask at The Penderels Oak, High Holborn. Patchy surface to an unclear copper coloured body. Dry fruity and pale malty aroma . Notes of plums and honey to the taste buds added by earthy malts. Very dry, bitter ending. Alright, however a bit disappointing (JDWs real-ale festival, London 01.11.2012). Strange to drink a golden ale with a thick head but tastes like a porter. Has a hopped character. leaparsons (10606) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2012
Cask, Highcross, Leicester. Golden with an off white head. Aromas are lemon peel with apricot and toasted malts. Woody with spiced tea and hints of petrol. Flavours are sweet peach followed by grapefruit and lemon bitterness. Quite gritty on the palate with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Fairly interesting. deanso (10150) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 25, 2012
Cask at JDW Manchester.
Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Tastes like a porter but looks like a bitter. I almost said you’ve poured the wrong beer ;-) Hoppiness in the aftertaste. A very interesting beer. Well done Titanic brewery!
