Cask Half Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - Golden in colour. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Fruity; some citrus, hints of lemon and soft fruits. Hoppy; earthy hops. Sweetish malty fruity throughout; dryish finish. Drinkable. But is it a Porter? (2012-11-12) Stuu666 (14916) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2015

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 6 Nov 2012. Poured a lightly hazy golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of big malt, vanilla and golden syrup. Some flowery hop flavours, with bready malt and treacle. Finish was peal, mango and toasted malt. SilkTork (5858) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2014
Oct/Nov 2012. JDW, Brighton. Pale thin gold. Citric rush - fresh, clean, and invigorating. Very tasty. Very moreish. Lovely. The_Osprey (9163) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2013
Oct 2012 draught Wetherspoons. Weird - golden colour with porter-like flavour. Smokey, vegetable flavour. Didn’t like it that much.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Golden coloured, with a lacy white head. Sweet, tangerine fruit, with some vanilla and roasted malts, leading to dryish finish with a trace of fag ash. Good. Finn (8184) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
Penderels Oak, Holborn 1 Nov 12. JDW Festivaløl. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Nesten ikke skum. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken er syrlig frukt. Tørr syrlig ettersmak. Skjønner ikke hva porternavnet har her å gjøre. Forsøk på å lage en ny stil? ManVsBeer (10954) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2012
Strange to drink a golden ale with a thick head but tastes like a porter. Has a hopped character. planky84 (3433) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2012

Cask at the Counting House in Glasgow.
Clear blond with a small foamy head. The aroma is apricot, caramel and early on there was some medicinal, eucalyptus like notes. The taste is hoppy with a quite dry finish.
