Cask. Aroma fruitcake with dark fruit, molasses and bread evident. Pours dark brown with thin top. Taste has malty caramels to the fore with a general sweetness that may not suit every bitter dinner but is fine by me. Who knows how far the Titanic ca.n go with les ice and more lifeboats?

Taste of caramel malts, earth and dark fruits with a little tartness beneath it all. Slightly roasted malts to the ending. Mild floury palate. Okay (York 10.07.2014).

Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2013
Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 17/04/13. Dark amber/copper with a thin off white head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose is dark malts, fruit, light toffee, a little thin overall. Taste comprises berry fruits, Ribena Lite, touch of hops, malt, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but a safe bitter which doesn’t set my world on fire.
