[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy deep red beer with a small beige head. The nose is light, but sweet with notes of berries especially lingonberries. The flavor is sweet and very bitter with notes of bisquites besides some floral notes.

Dark mahogany color, beautiful with its red shades. The aroma shows a suspicious light trace of apples. The flavor has some quite good dark caramel and roasted malts, with traces of apples too, and correct bitterness. I wonder about the bitterness, but its a pretty good Bitter.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 17/04/13. Dark amber/copper with a thin off white head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose is dark malts, fruit, light toffee, a little thin overall. Taste comprises berry fruits, Ribena Lite, touch of hops, malt, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but a safe bitter which doesnt set my world on fire.

Cask at OConnells. Clear copper color, good off-white creamy head. Aroma has caramel and light earthy hops. Light-bodied. Caramel, leafy hops, even toffee. Lingering English bitterness in the aftertaste. Sweet, light and a bit hoppy.

Cask @ The Rake, London. Nice red color, decent foamy white head. Smell some sweetness, lightly cellar and lightly bitter. Decent bitter taste. Decent carbo, low to medium body.

Cask conditioned at The Plough, Warmington, Warks. Muddy brown with no head. This was in awful condition, a vinegar nose with a flat, monotonous palate. There was some fruit, berry, but overall this Lifeboat had gone down with the ship. Terrible.

Rune (12006) - Troms, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2014
Cask by hand-pump, half pint at York Tap. Creamy beige head resting over a dark brown coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Malt-fruity aroma. Taste of caramel malts, earth and dark fruits with a little tartness beneath it all. Slightly roasted malts to the ending. Mild floury palate. Okay (York 10.07.2014).
