COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & bottled; Regular.

This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!

Agradable y equilibrada Porter, con la sorpresa de que donde esperaba un toque a ciruela pasa, era presencia de ciruela verde. BOTTLE. BB 14/04/2018

Drunk on draught at the volunteer in London. Enjoyable lightly plum spiced porter. Not too heavy.

Pours clear deep purple black. Nose of juicy plums, fruit cake, chocolate. Taste is full bodied, tannable, fruity, molasses.

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear ruby/brown body with a medium beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of wood, Ribena and tinned peach. Flavour of tea, underripe plum and a hint of bubblegum. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Sharp and interesting.

Rich, complex, multifaceted. Velvety texture, lovely fruity plum flavours. A treasure.

Dark beer with a small beige head, at nose the presence of plum is evident, but is not overcoming the other caramel notes, full body at palate with a rather sweet flavor followed by plum and finally a slight bitterness just adequate.

This is a delicious beer. A sweet, mild, very plummy porter. Light bodied, dark reddish brown with only the barest hint of hops at the end. Delectable. Tried at the White Horse pub in Fulham in 2017.

Cask at Rose and Thistle, Frimley. Fruity perfumed aroma - that’ll be the plums. Dark, ruby tinted. Fluffy but blotchy off-white head. Sweet with a light bitter core. This becomes more prominent into the finish. Medium bodied. Surprisingly on the thin side. Average carbonation. Long finish. Lovely.

500 mml bottle. Tasted on the 18/06/2017. Deep dark brown colour with a frothy light beige head. Aroma of plums, peach and roasted bread. Taste is intense plums with a slightly sugary finish. Next one please!

Cask at the Philharmonic in Liverpool. Smooth, oily texture, malt, the plum comes through strongly. Not really my thing.
