This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with nice sticky beige head. Aroma: full of canned plums, sweet, milk chocolate, wheaty notes- nostalgic aroma for me. Taste: sweet, plums, juicy, some balancing sourness, bitterness and dryness of plum sone. Up to medium body. Interesting and good if you like plums. Dry-bitterish finish. Nice.

Cask Half Pint at White Horse Old Ale Festival 2012, Parsons Green, London in Nov 2012 - Dark Ruby in colour. Very Fruity; soft fruits, lots of plums. Spicy. Malty; caramel, toasty malts. Hoppy; Goldings hops. Sweet plum fruity malty throughout leading to a dry finish. Definitely unusual. Interesting. Drinkable. (2012-11-25)

On tap. Pours dark red almost black. Aroma is fruit crumble. Taste is buttery dark fruits, prune and some chocolate. For such novelty beer this is exceptionally balanced beer. Dont bother with bottled version, its thin and almost mediocre compared to cask brilliance. Very nice

Light bodied stout like more than clean lagered porter with artificial adjunct of plums. Sweet taste, gentle dark malts bill.

Sweeteness aromas of plums and little vanilla, bananas, orange peel or blueberries, very nice! Dark colour, yellow creamy foam, bubbles has slowly bursting, head stay there a long time - nice ringing on glass. In taste feels bombs of plum flavours and chocolate or coffeee stay in the background. Bitter finnishing and roasty flavour staying after swallowing. My first fruit porter and it is very fine! My expectation was very high but this beer demolished everthing and i love nice surprises. Food pairing with sponge cake with vanilla puding and kiwi jelly.
