Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2015
Bottle from Bargain Booze, New Mills, Derbyshire. Pours amber with thick, frothy white head that lingers longer than with most bottled beers. Aroma is malty and doughy, taste is sweet with caramel and biscuit notes that become a little sickly after a while. Maybe some elderflower. Cloying sweet finish. Enjoyed for a few mouthfuls but got too sweet after that.

Bottle. Thin white head that dissapated almost immediately, bitter grapefruit aroma and slighty hoppy taste but the bitterness comes through on the tongue. Not bad but not great.

Towey1989 (2449) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) 4.5% ABV. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, peach, subtle lemon, some bready malt, slight caramel and floral hops. Taste of peach, grapefruit, some passion fruit, a little lemon, subtle caramel and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry but quite harsh, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Decent flavours of citrus and floral hops, started sweet but ended a little dry and astringent. Not the best from Titanic.

Pours gold with a good head. I found it very bitter with a bit of a harsh after taste. Not one for me.

Cask pours an almost clear gold with a lasting craft white head. Aroma, Graham floral and hoppy. Taste, mild malt moderate bitter finish. Rather pleasant, more to the aroma than the taste.

Aroma: light notes of wheat, light bread malts. Appearance: slightly hazy pale gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: medium sweet.
