Cask @ Monks Retreat. Clear pale gold. Cold, moderately hopped bitterness, refreshing. Nothing startling, but very welcome in the hot weather.

No doubt whatsoever that sometimes the mood fits. This average beer is just right for now. Creamy white head and a smooth swallow with a skim of hops. Refreshing and not that tasty.

Deep golden colour with a creamy white head. Nice curtain lacing. Light malty and a fine citric hoppy aroma. Medium body. Dominating caramel malty flavour with some nice citric notes. Nice easy drinkable ale.

Bottle from Tescos. Poured a clear amber with a long living frothy white head and broken lace. The aroma is malty and buttery, leading to a medium bitter flavour with a nice hoppy bitter palate with some smooth caramel notes. A very refreshing beer, particularly in the summer time.

Bottle. Light gold with a thick white bubbly head. Lemon and berry nose. Quite light in the mouth, with initital malt sweetness quickly being swept away by the lemon/grapefruit hops and a swiftly appearing dry finish with a nice amount of flavour remaining beyond the drink. Solid.
