Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Brownish-red in colour with a creamy head. Always with a strength, there’s some robust malts in its nose, with hints of fruit in its nose. It’s mildly tropical fruit is more evident in its taste. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2010
Bottle. A clear, reddish brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma has some spices, with dried fruits, roasted notes, caramel and a little sourish note. It’s too sourish in the mouth, with caramel, some spiced notes and a touch of bitterness. Medium to full body. Dried fruits, some roasted malts and spiced in the finish. Far from impressive, actually nothing more than half-good. 101105 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2010

Bottled as Christmas ale 2005.A perfect example of what can go wrong with a bottle conditioned ale. Brown appearance with a sour aroma.Initial impressions were not good but got worse.Vinegary is the only way to describe this beer that was just about drinkable. Drinking this was not a very pleasant experience. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2010

[500ml bottle (Titanic Christmas Ale), The Bottle, York] Where to start with this one? Great hopes reading the label tasting notes quickly vanished amidst an uncomfortably bitter beer. Almost a lambic-like sharpness, overwhelming flavours of blood orange and grapefruit, some cinnamon but really nothing good at all to recommend it. Either ours was off (although it had a two year shelf-life), or it was extremely badly balanced. Doesn’t really matter, I’ll not be trying another Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 28, 2010

Bottle. Pours a clear and brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, cinnamon, anis and cloves. The flavor is very close to the nose. The palate is spices, bitterness and alcoholwarmth. Overall the beer has an odd bitterness. Beese (2740) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2014
Cask gravity at the Watford Beer Festival 2014. Poured a clear amber, with a rocky off white head. Aroma of fruit salad sweets, caramel and cooked fruit. Flavours were a total mess of spice, grass, Xmas pudding, grain and copper. Finish was toffee, malt and unripe fruit. Absolute overkill.
