COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Seasonal - October to January. Available Bottle Conditioned as Christmas Ale.
This sweet malty winter ale has a port-like aroma, oranges and lemons play around the edges of the tongue whilst dried fruit and cinnamon drive home the wonderful warming effect, the walnut aftertaste completes this slice of Christmas time in a glass.

Tried at the Plough Shifnal, Nr Telford. Rich golden brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma tropical fruity, citrus and caramel. The taste sweet and fruity. Sticky body.

Towey1989 (2829) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2016
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear deep amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of toffee, rum & raisin, red berries, slight orange peel, a little bready malts and some spicy hops. Taste of toffee, fruitcake, rum & raisin, alcohol, some red berries, slight cinnamon, maybe other spices, a little orange, a hint of chocolate and subtle acidity. Medium bodied and a slick texture. A long, warming, spicy fruit finish. A really boozy Christmas beer, good amount of spicy fruit but for me, maybe a bit too much alcohol.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Brownish-red in colour with a creamy head. Always with a strength, there’s some robust malts in its nose, with hints of fruit in its nose. It’s mildly tropical fruit is more evident in its taste.

jmgreenuk (9455) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 18, 2015
Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is sweet malt and alcohol. The flavour is strong bitter with a rich sweet treacle toffee pudding, over ripe fruit, light spice, resin hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The hoppy bitterness combined with the alcohol really doesn’t work for me. Not the best beer I’ve had from Titanic.

Beese (2743) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2014
Cask gravity at the Watford Beer Festival 2014. Poured a clear amber, with a rocky off white head. Aroma of fruit salad sweets, caramel and cooked fruit. Flavours were a total mess of spice, grass, Xmas pudding, grain and copper. Finish was toffee, malt and unripe fruit. Absolute overkill.

RichTheVillan (7852) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2014
Cask at the Wellington; clear chestnut pour with a creamy magnolia head, dark fruit and acidic aroma, taste has light winter spices along with dark fruits, very mince pie, doesn’t work in a warm September.

downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2014
On gravity at the Tewkesbury winter beer festival, 7/2/2014. Deep, reddish-amber with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hops, tangerines, mincemeat, cinnamon and a warming finish. Excellent.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 22 Nov 2013) Dark reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, orange peel, citrus, hints of cinnamon and a sweet, vinous finish with a generous spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Complex, tasty and quite strong, but still in excellent balance. Lovely beer!

evergreen0199 (3369) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2013
Cask at White Horse Old Ale fest 2013, Parsons Green, London. A dark red/copper coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Port like, fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, dark fruit, oranges, slightly sweet.
