On tap at Titletown. Appearance od a dark brown color with light brown head. Aroma of light roasted malt, some mild chocolate and some light hazelnut. Taste is light floral hops, light chocolate, mild wood, light coffee, and some hazelnut. Medium carbonation and medium body, this is a great brown ale. The finish is a bit too astringent to be perfect. esjaygee (3906) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 23, 2009
On tap at Titletown Brewing Company. Mostly clear brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted nuts, pine and caramel. Taste is of heavy roasted malt with nuts, pine, citrus and caramel as well. Overly hopped for a brown ale, more of an IBA, which is fine with me. Finishes with mild bitterness. Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2007
On draught at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark old copper penny amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a ring and some lacing. Aroma of dark caramel malt, some roasted nuts, citrus zest and a touch of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of roasted malt, nuts and citrus. Finish is slightly bitter with a malty multi-grain aftertaste. The roasted malt character is pretty decent with this brew. badgerben (5328) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 20, 2008
Growler courtesy of Skyview. Brown color with no head. Aroma seemed very much like citrusy hops, not the Noble or earthy I expected. Walnut as well. Strong, nutty taste. A little chocolate. Dry and chalky finish. BDR (2535) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - AUG 24, 2007
Brown color with white head. Nutty nose with a light roasted character. Stronger than most bown ale aromas. Strong nutty flavor and a smooth body that has some harsh undercurrent to it.

About as good as a brown ale gets. Roasted malt and some caramel as well as some nut flavor. Good palate, quite thick for the style. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2008
Another nice brew from Titletown, heavy on the palate, creamy mouthfeel with a nice full bodied taste. Plenty of nutty aromas and a soft but full mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and oak. Very well balanced. JPDIPSO (6287) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 7, 2008
Clear mahogany color with nice lace. Lightly roasted malt and a touch of toffee in the aromas. Toasted malt, dry orange blossom honey, light cocoa and a little bit of roasted nuts. Fairly dry in the finish and linger with some more nuttiness. A decent amber/brown. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 8, 2009
On tap at Titletown. Poured deep redder brown with a short cap of beige head. The aroma led with caramel and toasted nutty notes and was accented by pine and earth.. came off a bit sharp. The flavor was quite sweet with the same caramel and toasted nutty notes.. spicy, earthy bitterness and a touch of pine around.. finished with a quick sweet malt hit and a long, lingering bitterness. Lighter-bodied with OK balance on the palate.. too much bitterness at the end. . overall drinkable, but only decent. tmoreau (4642) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2012
A full sampler pour at the brewpub bar, showing a clear, ruby highlighted brown hue, sporting a frothy, light tan hat, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma was lightly roasted, nutty, with a touch of caramel, and soft malt. The flavor was similar, adding moderate hop bitterness, in a medium body, with some light dryness to the finish. A decent Brown.
