On tap at Three Cellars. Clear mahogany with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, dough, mild bready malt, fruit and a hint of smoke. Taste is mildly roasted with caramel, smoke, light chocolate, middle of the road malts and some nuts. A touch gritty but decent. jkwalking05 (4740) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Deep brown in color with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is of brown rice, light smaoke, and earth. Taste is of roasted malts, light chocolate, brown rice, earthe and a light nuttiness. DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Pours a dark shade of red with a nice aroma! Very unique, almost smoky but not anywhere near that of a rauchbier. All in all a nice beer. nuplastikk (6277) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 8, 2011
Draft at Old Fashioned. Deep almost opaque black brown. Patchy, soapy beige head. Deep sweet chocolate, coffee, brown sugar aroma. Medium bodied, somewhat watery, but all around pleasant. Not unlike a Dunkel or Schwarzbier. Some coffee notes as well. Not much going on hopwise. Nutty toffee finish. Maybe a mix between Porter and a Brown. Pretty decent, another enjoyable offering from Titletown. Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2010
On draught at the Titletown brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear cola brown colored brew with a slow dissolving off-white head that leaves some excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, a hint of brown sugar and roasted nuts. Flavor is where the wild rice really shines. Flavors of smoked malt, roasted wild rice with nuts, and a hint of chocolate. Finish continues the wild rice aftertaste with some mild smoked malt and roasted nuts. By far this beer has the most wild rice flavor than all others I’ve tried.

Dark brown color with red hues and a moderate head. Light aroma, nuttiness to it. Nutty flavor, a different malt sweetness. Medium body, slightly dry. Like it. Juelze (1146) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 20, 2010
On tap at Titletown. Pours a reddish brown color with medium, frothy, light brown head. Aroma is sharp wild rice aroma, like smoke, cocoa, malt, and light fruits. Taste is sharp wild rice, and in fact, it was a bit off putting; however, it quickly gives way to a nice smoke and cocoa flavor combined with some nuttiness and mild fruit notes. Pretty interesting and well done for Dave’s first time brewing with rice.
