Pyobon (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2017
(On tap) Black with good dense tan head. Nice aroma - dark roast malt mainly. Lovely mouthfeel - smooth medium body with creamy carbonation. Great taste - rich and complex. Dark toffee, raisins, alcohol; nice bitterness in finish. Very good.

Obfita, beżowa, średnio oczkowa piana z ładnym lejsingiem. Ciemno brązowa, nieprzejrzysta barwa. W aromacie głównie czekolada, praliny, słonecznik, żywica... W smaku sporo słodyczy, czekolady, cappuccino, iglaków. Solidna, żywiczno palona goryczka, Niskie do średniego wysycenie, półpełne, wyklejające w odbiorze.
Smakuje to jak blend solidnego BIPA z solidnym imperialnym porterem. Fajne, ale zbyt goryczkowe, zbyt chmielowe mimo wszystko.

Pours black. Nose is faint char and anise. Taste is sharply bitter up front, but fades to a dark cacao finish. Quite interesting and unlike most porters. More like an imperial stout in flavor profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Önmagában véve szimpatikus ital, a külleme terén sincs oka panaszra: éjfekete test, bézs habbal a tetején. Illatai még magukban hordoznak némi reményt valami intenzív élmény kiteljesedésére, a mandulás, marcipános színezetu, édeskésen telt malátás aromák rendben vannak, bár a komló kissé kitüremkedo foszlányai elorevetítik egy általam kevésbé preferált stílus kirajzolódását. Belekortyolva beigazolódik a gyanúm; közelebb állni látszik ugyanis egy szimpla, komlóval alaposan megdúsított porterhez, mintsem annak imperial-változatához. Kávés, étcsokoládés, hamus, majd gyógynövényes, pirított magvas karakteru, kissé éles testu, az imperial-vonalhoz homályos szálak útján kapcsolódó fozet.

Sweet chocolate, dark toasted malts, sweet, dark, toasted malts, light chocolate followed by some dark malts. Hazy black, small creamy, beige head. Intense charcoal, dark, toasted malts, soft carbonation, medium to full bodied. Decent Impy Porter, well-balanced. Keg at BrewDog, Shepherds Bush.
