Dark amber colour, small off white head. Aroma of vanilla, wine, candy sugar, citrus, pineapple, orange, anise, spices. Taste is very interesting, candy sugar sweetness, slight tartness and bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.

from Erzbierschof - pretty clear dark reddish beer with a little beige foam left; woody and light vinous; strong presence of cherries and hints of vanilla and red fruits marmalade; full-bodied, fairly bitter and with a decent sourness, long fruity and woody finish showing an increasing sourness - interesting and very pleasant

Leicht trübe orangebraune Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumkrone. Geruch alkoholisch, holzig, Wein, kräftig malzig, Obst, Vanille. Geschmack nach Vanille, sehr viel Malz, wenig Obst, Holzig, dann wieder viel Vanille, leicht holzig, einfach klasse!

Aroma of some horse with resin and caramel. Really nice medium bodied beer with a really complex thing going on. Quite some bitterness with a very dry taste. Reminds me of Evil Twin Disco Beer. Awesome beer.

Bottle. Ruby red, small white-ish head. Fruity and slightly sour aroma. Taste is quite diverse. It has some dark dubbel malt, a slight milky sourness and some nice warming fruitiness of the wine aging. Long finish with some vanilla. Original and very tasty.

Thanks to this beer I know that caramel and red dried fruits go well with barrel aging ! The beer got more dry and the alcohol is superbly hidden. The drinkability of this beer is perfect. I love it. Aromas are fruity, wine and wood. What an enlightenment.

Kolor ciemnobursztynowy, piwo jest lekko mętne. Piana bardzo niewielka, opada prawie do zera. W aromacie mocno słodowo, lekki karmel, czuć rodzynki, jagody i lekką kwaskowość. Po chwili bardzo wyraźnie wybija się czerwone wino. W smaku drożdżowe i słodowe, pełne. Dość mocna słodycz, czuć również wino, trochę taniczne, mocne akcenty belgijskie, fenolowe. Goryczka średnia. Bardzo dobrze zbalansowane i złożone piwo.

Caramel, honey, light sour compliments it very well, light bitterness, refreshing, everything subtle and fruity, dry plums, cough syrup.
